Welcome to the Ekologos Wiki

The Ekologos Wiki is a digital archive dedicated to preserving and sharing Indigenous Knowledge (IK), Traditional Knowledge (TK), and/or Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK). This platform integrates community-led curation with academic rigour, ensuring that each contributing community retains control over their knowledge.

The Ekologos Wiki is an initiative of the Ekologos project funded by the Norwegian Directorate of Higher Education and Skills.

Our mission is to promote sustainable environmental stewardship by fostering a respectful and comprehensive understanding of Indigenous Knowledge, Traditional Knowledge, and/or Traditional Ecological Knowledge. Contributions come from across the globe, including the Norwegian Arctic, Brazilian Amazonas, Moto Grosso, Moto Grosso do Sul, South American Gran Chaco, Southern India, and the Eastern Himalayas.
