Campinas

The State University of Campinas (Unicamp) is the partner of Ekologos project in Brazil. We are one of the largest universities of Latin America, focused on offering the highest level of teaching and research with public impact. Unicamp's Department of Anthropology is one of the longest-established departments of the country, with a solid tradition in research on a wide varied of topics, such as Amerindian and African studies, gender, migration, religion, politics, violence, among many others. We value the combination of solid ethnographic research with innovative methods and theoretical frameworks as a means of producing knowledge that is socially situated and of global impact.
