I am a Professor of Anthropology at the State University of Campinas, Brazil. I have been working with issues such as social and political organization, kinship, ritual, verbal arts, and territoriality. My current research interests are in the effects of climate change on the Kalapalo traditional fishing technologies, and how they have been developing adaptation strategies.
